Hi all, welcome back Milly and great news Rachel.

    Had a good day today.
    1) SC x 10p

    2) Received Approved Food order, and put away in my already bulging cupboards.

    3) Went to Lidl for the rest of the weekly shop. Used £5 voucher from the paper and it came to £28! Lots of great offers in there at the moment e.g. red peppers for 20p each and mozzarella for 27p. :j

    4) Received £14.96 from Quidco and paid straight to CC.

    5) Took T to the gardens with a friend and her boys. There is a great new play park there and we also saw a free magic show. Ah, the joys of living in a tourist town - lots of free entertainment.

    6) All meals from stores and I'm just about to make smoothies with overripe fruit.

    7) Researched buying a spare part for my smoothie maker as we have lost an integral part. Cheapest is £6 so far  inc postage, but much cheaper than buying a whole new machine.

Have a good evening, see you tomorrow. L x

    Hello all,

I haven't been here since Thursday as BF has been around. He has been a star and taken me and DD to Longleat to see Sportacus, taken us to evaluate a car booty where I could possibly get rid of my books and took us sightseeing as well in addition to buying us ice creams. :smileyhea (Oh and mowed my lawn, did my washing up and fixed the electricity socket in garage...)

So last few days I have:
    - Scratchies (twice a fiver in a week meaning I have withdrawn a total of £33 in one week!!!)
    - Curly
    - Cash back bingo (won a tenner so now only 23p away from withdrawing £50.-)
    - All meals accroding to meal plan
    - Today lunch HM tuna salad
    - All of this week's suppers are going to be left overs from what I cooked over weekend (neatly in freezer ready to defrost and heat up every day :T)

Still have fair amount of the big stuff to do but giving myself a break just for this one day. If I am trying to have another day off tomorrow just please SHOUT at me. Thanks.

  • Hi folks :)

Sorry for the late check-in tonight - where has the time gone?

    Today:
    • won 10p on free scratchcards
    • met with tutor who is providing me with a reference
    • used Cineworld card to see "Coco Avant Chanel"
    • tried using porridge oats and honey for breakfast instead of the ready-made sachets I would normally take. It didn't taste too bad but I seem to have gotten the milk/oats mixture a bit wrong  Ah well, better luck tomorrow
    • did some surveys for OnePoll and GfK
I picked up some great bargains while I was shopping earlier - body scrubs reduced to 40p, lovely apple-flavoured lip balm for 50p and grabbed some yellow-stickered items this evening at Tesco. Downside to this is I swore I wouldn't buy any new tolietries until I had used up all of the ones I still have. D'oh! :o
