Just been assigned my first job with ESA, can anyone tell me what they're like to work for?
Are they like gyp and come back with loads of queries or are they happy with the questionnaires being filled in appropriately?
Ohh today is a good day, just been offered an assignment from Bare too, both the ESA and Bare ones slot perfectly in to my otherwise low paid planned assignments. Love it when a plan comes together lol! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Could somebody give me a general idea of what Audit work involves? I have done a few mystery shops in the past but have been offered some audit work today and am in two minds because I dont really know what it entails(the brief only says to check details!)
It varies from job to job. It could contain any of the following elements:
checking to see if a promotion has been set up, and setting it up if it hasn't
checking store inventories and tallying with your count of stock on hand, correcting if necessary
bringing out new stock to replenish the display
checking products are scanning at the correct price at the tills
checking point of sale material has been displayed
negotiating with managers to get more shelf space or persuading them to order new lines in
recording price and promotion information on competitor brands
taking digital photo's - sometimes before and after to show the work you've done
That's off the top of my head, there will probably be bits I've missed out!
You need to be confident enough to speak with everyone from shop floor upto senior management level. Sometimes you get grief from managers, so you need to be thick skinned and assertive so they don't brush you off. You need to be fit enough to move cages of stock from the warehouse if necessary. Here I go again on my own....0 -

@TG - The RE Pizza ones were one's I've not sen before, they weren't the TNS ones, they were one that only does takeaway.
--
I spoke with GR about the fee for my restaurant visit, and queried why it was so low.
I explained that in my [limited] experience, the "done thing" is that the reimbursement is enough to cover two people to have a meal, and that I'd feel out of place doing the visit on my own.
She explained that the reimbursement is coming from GR themselves, as the jobs are a piolet, to help them enter into the restaurant MSing market. I said I'd do the job as a favour to try and help them, but if they did get the contracts, they'd need to look at increasing the reimbursement somewhat. She did say that I wasn't the only person to say this to them, and that they were aware of the issue.
RE insist on two people for the Spanish restaurant while GR want just one. I think this is fine as it lets everybody get a chance. I therefore hope GR keep it as it is.0 -

Does anyone know what happened to the fast pizza jobs TNS use to have? Have they lost the contract? I use to really enjoy them and there are still a few in the area that I haven't done yet.0
