  • Thanks TG, managed to see two although it keeps refusing it!!! not sure why, I have sent an e-mail so fingers crossed as its so expensive to eat out at the Pleasure Beach sometimes!!!
    :money: giving me & my darling boys a better cheaper life :o:A
  • Hey TG wannna send you a pm but your full up!
  • Depends on the company. Some reimburse you for a meal for say up to £40 and you don't get a fee and if you go above that amount it comes out of your own pocket and sometimes you get a reimbursement and a small fee. It really all depends on which company you are MSing for. They always specify it in the brief.

    quote.. payment £12-50 total
    17179869.184 agreed extra...

    ? hence my confusion..
    sorry it is my first attempt at ms... it is with a well known company that most of you use..

    Thanks for taking the time to reply. x

    Hi fellow MSers I thought I would share a scam warning thats doing the rounds at the moment. People have received an email from HMRC telling them that they have made a PAYE overpayment and that if they send their bank details to HMRC they will get refund.

    HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) would not inform customers of a tax rebate via email, or invite them to complete an online form to receive a rebate of tax.

    Do not visit the website contained within the email or disclose any personal or payment information.

    Email addresses used to distribute the tax rebate emails include:

    * tax-inform@hmrc-information.co.uk
    * online.paper@hmrcpaper.co.uk
    * office.tax@hmrc.taxreturn.co.uk
    * customers@hmrc.gov.uk
    * help.desk@hmrc.notify-online.co.uk
    * online.notify@hmrc-customs.co.uk
    * hmrchelpdesk@hrmchelpdesk.co.uk
    * refunds@hmrc.gov.uk
    * securemail@hmrc.gov.uk
    * tax-refund@hmrcforms.co.uk
    * hmrc@tax-revenue.uk
    * refundsdept@hmrc.gov.uk
    * hmrc@tax-revenue.uk
    * refunds@hmrc.gov.uk
    * taxcredits@hmrc.co.uk
    * tax-service@hmrc.customs.gov.uk
    * service@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk

    HMRC does not send out emails using these email addresses.

    The link can be found at

    http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/security/e xamples.htm

    Where there are examples of the scam emails.
    Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

    The top figure is what you will get. You need to pay for your meal out of that. If the meal costs more than that (it frequently does) you'll end up out of pocket.

    If they pay you the agreed extra as well you can retire to the Bahamas after just one MS job:D

    Thanks for your reply.. yep I guess I put the decimal point in the wrong place.. so what's the agreed extra payment?? Its not sounding worth doing at this rate...

    Either they're feeling extremely generous or the agreed extra is an error;) On rare occasions if they ring you about a job they need doing urgently they will agree a small extra payment. That's where they would put it on the paperwork.

    I noticed today that I have a similar figure on one of mine. If they pay that I'll join you in the Bahamas:D
