Hmmm now that I've put through the spread sheet the there and back portion of the journey (doh) I seem to owe the tax man very little if the calculations are correct. :D

Do any of the companies release jobs at the weekend as a rule?

Thanks - that makes sense. Mind you, the report doesn't ask if they did offer any other suggestions at the check out. Although I guess it could be standard wording that they have in all notes.

Also, I've just looked on the website (would never have thought of that if you hadn't mentioned it :o!), and it lists 'sports equipment' under 'accessories', although it doesn't seem to mention rackets anywhere on the website. I assume a racket would be sports equipment. I'm told they do sell them, but they don't seem to be on the website.

If it's the one I'm thinking of then I'd only just call it a sports shop. It's more a fashion shop really, with fashionable sportswear. I did one, but couldn't find anything to buy it was awful. They don't actually sell any sports equipment in my local one. I wouldn't do it again, personally. But I guess I'm probably not one of their target customers anyway, so prob just as well!

Totally agree, Josie! I wouldn't be seen dead in there normally, it really is just awful sports fashion although the assistant was sursprisingly knowledgable about the trainers.

Scaredy Cat, I bought a mini golf club for my son on my visit and they paid up no problem.

That's happened to me too, so I just bought a child's hoodie that I didn't really like but my son thought it was brilliant
Here I go again on my own....

I think that's the only one that Gap won't reset for you - they say it's in accordance with the clients' instructions... if you've failed, they don't want you in their 'restaurant'.

Give it time, that "restaurant" will probably end up on RE.
