If it's a football bet, consider betting on a footie match for tomorrow, back one team to win in your visit today, and then tomorrow, during your visits, back the other team to win, and back the draw. That way, at least one of your bets will win.

I could have done with a third bookies on Saturday. Unfortunately Doncaster blinking scored at the last minute to draw so there went my win down the pan!
  • Thanks for tips everyone, I'm back!! Wasn't as bad as I thought, but thought that hanging around might make me stand out, but no they seemed oblivious to me and never mentioned things maybe they were supposed too!! But then I forgot to ask question too, so not sure if I'll be paid for this one, at least I have learnt for tomorrow lol:o

So what will happen? If the account the money has gone into has been closed, then surely it will get returned to Gap at some point and then they can re-pay you?

Or, surely if you contact your bank and explain, they will be able to do something for you? After all, it was your account! If someone took a direct debit or something from it, they'd catch up with you quick enough so don't see why it cant work the other way?

I don't think the account is closed. Just isn't used and UKM isn't likely to get the money back out of it.

    Hey TG.

The account hasn't been closed, it's still open, but I'm having problems with the bank, hence i don't have access to the money.

I owe the bank money, so like I said, it's not the end of the world, as it simply reduces the amount that I owe the bank, which in the longer term is a good thing, it just screws things up for me in the short term!!
