  • Urgh, what a horrible morning... first I spilt stinky bin juice all down my leg putting the rubbish out, then i scraped someone's car and then I burnt my toast to charcoal all before 8 o'clock!

Looks like i'll be spending all the extra dosh i've made from MSing on fixing the persons scraped car door, which he reckons will be about £150!

Just hoping that there will be a ton of MSing jobs in October to make up for it!

Sorry for the off topic rant......:o

When I had a couple of scratches on my bonnet (friend decided to jump on it the day I got it!!) I took it down to one of the companies that work out of shopping centre car parks. They weren't very deep and I was charged £23 for it. They said prices started around £50 for deeper scratches so if they're not too deep it shouldn't cost you £150. I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap it was!

    Hope your day get better!!!
  • Help...I'm totally confused lol! I have been accepted as a MS with Grass Roots so thought I had better get myself registered as self employed, but me being me, I have got stuck on National Insurance. I have registered online as self employed, but have now gone on to complete the national insurance application and note from the start of this thread that you can apply for an exemption. Brought up the form for this, but it said you can pay voluntary contributions which I am thinking about doing. Does anyone know whether, if paying voluntarily, you still have to pay the £2.40 per week? I do want to pay contributions so that it will benefit me in years to come, but if I would still have to pay the £2.40, I may as well not apply for the exemption and register as normal. Thank you in advance.

  • Yikes - today I had to go and sit a test in a male dominated business (only woman in the room) I couldn't revise for it as wasn't gonna buy the manuals and guess what, I passed :T shame the certificate is useless to me, but was fun and got paid nice fat fee for it!! Now off to the Torso shop to stock up on some lovely lotions and potions and then red catalogue shop. Then that's it for the week

I'm a bit confused (again). There's a meal going free on RE, but the dates it says it has to be done are 24 - 29/08/09. What's going on?

Somebody failed to do it if you want it accept it and then phone the contact at RE who can change the dates for you.
  • Oh dear, I've just done a torso shop and the lady who served me used to go to high school with me. Now I left high school 15 or so years ago, but she still recognised me and chatted about whether I still see anyone, if I was married/had kids etc.

Now she obviously doesn't know what I was doing there, but still she knew me and tailored the conversation round it. Do I need to disclose that in the report/to RE? Does it mean the assignment would need to be re-done by some else, or is it alright?

Anyone had any experiance of this?
