    Morning all,

Shall we all take a deep breath, look to the skies and be thankful that is FRIDAY!!!!

Definitley!!!! Weekend here we come. Although, have what I imagine will be a very awkward and uncomfortable meal planned tonight so not really looking forward to that (and it's not even a MS!!!).

In other news, I finally made the decision to not do anymore work for Gap. Will be "unsubscribing" to them today. Yippee!

Good for you, unfortuantly, they are providing my stable diet of fried breakfast products for the next few weeks so I shall stick with them a little longer!

I'm not impressed with Gap so far (says she who's only ever done 5 jobs - none for Gap!) and am only going to do the non-fast food ones as the burger ones sound a complete farce. Well done you for unsubscribing!!!

Seems really quiet for jobs, but it may be I'm just too ancient to pick up any of the good jobs going !

There are times when it does get quiet for some of us and other times you will be rushed off your feet, so stick in there and keep your options open.
I'm early 40's and age has not slowed me down (as far as I can tell), its location that's my handicap.
You will also find that you switch between "best friend" companies. I used to do loads for Bare, for example, but have not picked up anything for them for 6 months, but I keep checking with fingers crossed.
My advise is to use your slack time doing some research into other companies not mentioned on the first page. A google search can bring up a few so spend a couple of days filling in applications. Don't forget to keep a record of who you've signed up to because chances are you'll get an email in a few months and you'll be back on here "saying who are these people, I don't remember signing up to them"! Its happened to most of us at one time or another.

    I second that!!

Don't wait around for the RE jobs etc to come in - I've only ever done about five jobs for them, but in total 643 Mystery Shops since starting up again - so there are obviously loads of other companies out there!!!

As mharzuk said - just google every so often & you'll come across others - I think I'm registered with about 40 but get fairly regular work from less than half of them.

I've just come across another this morning so added that to my list!

A day off today to clean the house & sort paperwork - how exciting!
    ;)

No, I don't intend to sit around waiting for RE!!! I've been happily sending off applications and am probably with about 12 or so companies but have more to target when I get a chance.

Enjoy the house cleaning - I've got shopping / ironing / cleaning to do plus some typing work so you're not alone ;)

    It's a gorgeous day outside so I'm tempted to say *** the housework & paperwork but I won't - I'll be good! :D
