OK monkey boy I'm going to come right out and ask you something that has been prying on my mind for ages.

    Do you work for ABAi?????.

    No, i don't!
    My reasons for thinking this:

    (1) You claim to have only been Mystery shopping for 5 months and yet have a huge knowledge of all areas to do with it, even more than some of us who have been doing it for over 2 years and manage to produce your fab Logger , with everything a MS-er needs, with only 5 months knowledge?

I'm quite pleased (and a bit surprised!) that you think that. I did a lot of reading, and asked a lot of questions, which you, and the other regs at the time helped to answer. I guess I usually pick things up quite quickly!

As for the spreadsheet, I had a lot of help with the programming of that, from a non MS-er.
    (2) You always seem to know when ABAi will pay and when jobs are coming out

Like I've said before, I have a good relationship with them. If you talk to them, you'll find they're very helpful. Why would they not tell me when jobs are coming out? If they know, then it's in their interests to tell people so that the jobs are all covered. I did a lot of red shops last month due to them not being taken.
    (3) You frequently tell us how fab ABAi are

Because I think they are! They're not without fault (their website is pretty sh*t, I hate the fact that you have to go into each client seperatley to search for their jobs!
    (4) Youve been absent from the thread for a few days but as soon as someone asks how to add ABAi clients you pop up to direct them to the first thread.

I've had a lot of things going on over the last week or two, and have been very tired, and have had very little time to spend on here. Should improve now though (or get worse, depending on how much you hate me)!
So ... do you work for them or not?

    No, no, no, no!!! :)

Good news as just picked up my first ABAi job and also been accepted by a Bristol based MS company following a trial shop I did for them yesterday. Feeling much more confident than I did just a week ago! :j

I have a query - I went for a few car jobs on BARE but didn't get them but now I see that one of them is back on the job search again. Should I reapply or are they just not interested in me (sniff sniff - I can take it).

    What do you think?

I would reapply as they have probably been let down by someone who can't do it anymore

I often see the one I have been accepted for on the job board even though it has been taken. Bare seem to be rather slow at updating their job board and don't take jobs off it straight away after they have been accepted. It is very frustrating.

If you re-apply it will probably come back with an error message telling you that you have already applied for this shop. Give it a go and see what happens. Oh, and let us know! :D

    Congratulations!

Seems like you're getting the hang of it now. :D

You will be a pro in no time! (for all those PC people on here who take offence at the slightest thing - when I say "pro" I mean "professional" not "prostitute").;)

Thanks for this, I just picked up the other 2 in the area. Worth mentioning that if you happen to see new jobs on a site chuck a post into the alerts thread so the rest of us can try and get some :)

Will do - I thought that there was only the one job there as I didn't see anything else. How do I know if there's others too?

    All these questions!
