You tell em! :T
In the spirit of MSing.....i've e-mailed Aba-i twice to try and extend a visit date by a day but they still haven't come back to me.
What are they likely to do if I cancel the job and then pick it up again?
Give them a call tomorrow - it's very unusual for them not to come back to you - if you've not got the number PM me and tell me the client? We’ve had to remove your signature. When you do a car visit on Bare, they say about a dozen differant visits etc. Do they give you the various addresses and are they miles apart, or can you do the local ones, and are they worth doing, any little tips please.
The newer car jobs, they are giving you a list of manufacturers and you have to let them know which of the dealerships in your area that you are going to visit. I've just been assigned 4 to do, now trying to find dealers that I've not already visited for Bare or ESA!0 -

Dont be daft, its only if people ask loads of questions about joining the ms companies and tax as its all on the front of the thread, The long standing fantasic members of this forum give us so much info on the first pages and from what I see help most people, theres the odd few posters that have verbal diahorea at times but dont we all!!!!x:money: giving me & my darling boys a better cheaper life:A

Had a fab MS underground sandwich lunch and a shockingly bad italian brothers dinner - it took an hour to fill in the latter report to get as much of the detail in as possible, and I just know they'll be calling to query some of the content, despite my best efforts. Now I can't sleep as I had two soft drinks with caffeine, just to make the time go faster on such a slow meal! Anyone else around at this unsocial hour?
EDIT - Ooo, it's sometimes worth being up ridiculously early/late - just picked up a couple of small jobs that weren't there when I closed the 'puter down at 11! Not a major upload of work, though, so I won't be posting an alert, maybe someone else up late just dropped them.Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0 -
What a superior sounding post. I have a uni degree , an RCGP dipl in Asthma and a FP Cert. I currently work in a supermarket due to my mum having Alzheimers disease.
This used to be a friendly forum. You are one of the people I class as keyboard hardmen/women..
RE asked me to do a pub for a reduced fee which would have up vanished in petrol.
Pity Timmne doesn't post anymore...he hated RE with a vengeance.

I'm glad I'm hearing more bad reports about RE. I thought I was the only one who'd experienced problems with them. When I joined RE, just over a month or ago, I believed, as others do on here, that they represented one of the better MS companies. But in four short weeks, and four jobs later I got the boot from them, but only after experienced the following and complained about these points:
(a) two report upload problems, forcing me to submit my reports manually and prompts claiming that I'd submitted spelling errors. Since when has blonde ever been spelt 'blond?' Ruddles Ale was even regarded as a wrong
spelling. Oh! Apparently Asian isn't spelt 'Asian' either. Then there were receipt uploading problems - asking for a receipt when the assignment notes clearly stated that no receipt was needed. This made it hard to close off the assignment - presumably a good strategy to ensure you don't get paid for submitting your report on time.
(b) numerous phone calls about report answers that had already been answered in full - several days after the report was submitted, not just a few hours, as specified in the assignment notes.
(c) assignment notes that were misleading and lies about repeat shops to stores I'd already visited - even though I had already submitted full and frank reports that were full, accurately answered and true. Apparently, I wasn't positive enough, in one report I submitted, which leads me to infer that they really want tailored responses that the client wants to hear - not the truth about your experiences during the visit. The only reports that were never criticised (two out of the four I completed) contained praise about the service. The two that were questioned, I'd experienced poorer service and said so. Funny how my report writing skills are inadequate when I've got bad things to say, but my report writing skills are all fine and dandy when I've got nothing bad to say about the service. Funny that! Obviously my standard of English goes down the plughole when I'm criticising the client's customer service, but seems absolutely fine - with good grammar and spelling - when I'm not. Weird that!
(d) one job was withdrawn from me - by accident, apparently - about a week or so after I'd started with RE, then it was reinstated back to me, after I phoned RE about it. The notes I ran off clearly stated the job was booked, but RE site showed that this job hadn't been booked at all. Funny that! Then the very same job was withdrawn again, after I got the boot from them last week. What a coincidence! The same job too! Funny that!
(d) deception over who's who at RE. The head honcho never said to me that she was the head honcho - with hire and fire power. She just led me to believe, as she had done all along, that she was just a regular bod from customer services, but she turned out to be the head of training. Pity she never gave me any, if RE were so critical of my reports, which, incidentally, were fine. Funny that!
Personally, I think RE are a deceitful, awful company and unless you are completely daft it should be apparent from my full, frank and accurate report above, regarding my experiences with RE, in such a short time, that something is not quite right with this company's treatment of me.
I suspect, but have no proof, that one of their favourite MS, that usually picked up jobs in my locality where I was now accepting quite a few assignments over a short timeframe complained to RE that someone was picking up too many jobs in their area, leaving them with fewer jobs to select from. Easily done, I suspect, when all the jobs are visible for everyone to see and are selected on a first come first serve basis. A bit RE inspired manipulation here and there; a knock back or two; a threat of repeat mystery shops required; wasted time answering questions you've already answered is enough to dampen the enthusiasm of any out of favour / newbie MS, which clears the deck very nicely for those they do favour, and who want the jobs they are not able to secure in time.
Wouldn't surprise me at all. There has to be some explanation for all of these incidents above. My whole experience of RE smacks of bad treatment - not from me, as they claimed - but from them.
Perhaps someone should mystery shop RE to find out what really goes on behind the scenes.0
