Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 - free upgrade to 2010

Apologies if posted before but anyone running KIS 2009 can upgrade to the new 2010 version for free at the Kaspersky website (it doesnt happen automatically). Also works for Barclays customers who get it for free ( I know, I am one!). The installation recognises your existing licence and its expiry date.

Incidentally, Barclays customers nearing their licence expiry date can get a fresh 12 month key by a link on the internet banking site.

Hope this helps.

It has been posted at least once before! I suspect that at some point the new 2010 version will be offered as an automatic update to those still running the previous 2009 version. Depends if people know about the update from posts like yours, and download it manually...!

(Sneaky people have been buying the much-cheaper 2009 version from (say) Amazon, and updating it immediately to 2010...)

The 2010 edition is indeed out, but I have reverted both my machines back to the 2009 version as it seems to slow the machine more and I cant see anything the new version does that the old doesnt
