My sons PSP has just developed a problem in that it's not picking up any game he puts in, we have checked the games are clean and not scratched and you can hear it spinning trying to pick up the games, all his memory is saved and he swears he hasn't dropped it or anything, it was working earlier perfectly well
Has anyone got any ideas? or where we could get it repaired?

it's probably the UMD drive (where you insert the games) has gone and needs to be repaired.
i think its a fairly common problem on PSP's that have had 'rough' handling (thrown around/dropped/taking a game out before the drive has stopped spinning etc)0 -

I had exactly the same thing, they had to replace the laser and the UMD motor. I sent it away and it was repaired and back to me within 5 days and it cost £35!
I can't remember the website I used, but just search for PSP repair or PSP doctor in your search engine.:T If you don't have anything sensible to say, don't say it! :T0
