Hi,
I am planning to upgrade my OS to xp pro and have been advised it may be better to wipe the drive first rather than just upgrading.
If I want to wipe it, how and what is the best way to do it?

During the fresh install of XP Pro it will give you the option to format the hard disk which will wipe it clean for you.
