Well, a little update !!
After sending my template letter to Lloydstsb shortly after my post above in Aug 09, i waited about 4 weeks for a reply from them...It basically said NO, that i had signed for the PPI etc etc and that i had no claim.
So i left it at that, thinking i had no reason to make the claim and at least i'd tried.
Anyway...about 3 weeks ago (end of Sept 10) out of the blue, i recieved a letter from Lloyds saying my case had been reviewed and they were now saying that i had been missold the PPI and i'd be getting it back plus 8% interest. What a result i'm over the moon.
After thinking i'd never hear from them again, Lloyds have come up Trumps.
If your in the same situation as i was...Dont give up !! Its taken the best part of a year, but its been worth it.
Dicky. Oh and thank you Lloyds...Great Customer Service.0 -
