Going to Ikea today. Children can go in the play area for 45 minutes :T then they can decorate a cushion there then have an ice-cream :D. They are so excited about going you would think we were going to Disney.

My DD is like that - she loves Ikea! Prefers to come around with us rather than stay in the play area...even the baby enjoyed it yesterday

    Morning lovelies!

Rosepink cool! I'm very excited for you, hope he emails you back asap :j

Glad LO is ok G&B x

Off to the Great North Museum in Newcastle today though I've no idea where it is and we're going by Metro and apparently it's just a short walk from the Haymarket stop, up a big hill and round the bend (aka 4 miles away) no doubt :D best google map it.

Littler tray has been scooped, just about to hang the washing on the line, beds will be done when the kids arise from their pits, get ready then were off.

OH wanted me to help him move a pallet of concrete blocks up the stairs and onto his scaffolding today - like !!!!!! have I been blethering on about since I decided to have a week off  spending the week doing stuff with the kids....... think he's got the hump because I'm not spending the entire time building his extension - tough titty. I'm annoyed now *chill* ~~~~~~~and breathe.

My DD only likes the play area because her brother goes in with us and when I have her I am a nasty mummy and make it boring for her so that she thinks playing in the play area is a much better idea .

    Morning all!

Slept really well last night and I am beginning to get a brain again today. Hurrah! Though I'm having a bout of the sweats again but no fever. My cough is much better too and is finally becoming productive. This seems to be going the same way as DD's did so by tomorrow I should be almost back to normal.

I will do some flying today but I will take it easy and pace myself.

:rotfl: :rotfl: Sorry! Funny how when they have done the dishes its a case of "I did the dishes for you" rather than an "I did the dishes", isn't it? ;)

Hollyh - how is your little one doing, poor thing?

Rosepink - Fingers crossed for the flat - sounds great! Our sale fell through and found a place we really like but waiting on a buyer so we could do with a little of that sort of luck ourselves :(

Hung the washing out and it's already boiling out there note to self: need to find suncream. Put a couple of last night's bits in the DW so that's ready to go, kitchen was S&S'd last night so still looking good. Heading upstairs now to get ready and make my bed at least. No idea what were having for eats today

the rain is horrible, no idea what to do today, i told DD we could spend some time together today(that makes me sound like an awful mummy) as i have been wrapped up in my own little bubble for the last few days, i think if the rain slows down/stops we might head out to the library(it is only 2 minutes away!) for an hour or so, if not then i think we might spend some time doing puzzles as DD really enjoys doing them at the minute

glad your feeling like better today soappie, but remember take it easy still
