Sorry to hear about your ex-MiL msgnomey. Could you subtly 'remind' your ex-OH about your daughter's appointment? As the funeral may not be for a while, they should be able to schedule it around her (my grandfather died just after Christmas, which is not an easy time to arrange a funeral, so there was plenty of time to arrange it around availability of flights for the french side of the family, my birthday (!), and my brother's work commitments (he's a GP, so it either had to be on a day he wasn't working, or one he could get a locum to cover the locum work he was doing...)
kaz - say yes to Quillion's offerJust think how lovely your house will look by the time she's ebayed the contents
Dealing with other people's clutter and cleaning is so much easier than doing your own (isn't Jinky living proof
)
It's wet and horrible here - I was going to walk to the shop for yogurt for breakfast, but it's far too wet. Luckily I managed to scrape enough out of the bottom of the pot for this morning. Hopefully it will improve by the time I get back from work this afternoon... I must check soappie's favourite website
Toots - I hope you make it back here today. Please don't overdo things, and make sure that neither soappie nor Triker lifts a finger either!0 -

DH is away tonight (has a monthly meeting up north so better for him to stay over than drive all the way back here) which means I can keep even tidier ! :rotfl:He's a bit of a monkey for leaving shoes out, not tidying away his work bits, leaving his cup on the table :rolleyes:. I'll probably do that. I usually do that sort of work on the laptop at the kitchen table. I shall have to turn a blind eye to the fact the grot is beginning to build up in there even though the kids have tried...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hi to all, only just got access to my computer after our holiday in WET West Wales. Holiday was probably the worst we've had since getting our trailer tent, thought it was going to take off at one point:eek:, wind and rain was pants. Did have two nice days so we did get to spend some time on the beach, also got to see dolphins swimming just off shore:j:j:j this was a dream come true for me-I love dolphins and whales. It was a mother and her calf they were so graceful.
Anyway back to business ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) to all.
I will post my flying later and try to catch up on at least some of the thread:o
See you later xxxxxxDFW Nerd 410:T
