Is that a good deal?

Also, are fingerprint readers any good, and worth getting?

    Depends on the rest of the specs - processor, graphics, ports etc. A link might help.

    Looks like an older model with a 2007 core 2 duo processor which is OK but not great. Generally nothing to get excited about for the price, unless fingerprint readers add a lot to the price or if you have to have Vista Business and such laptops are usually more expensive.

    My family members don't have finger prints, really causes problems in the US can't wait for ID cards here, son has an Asus laptop and cannot use the reader !
