Spent best part of £8 in cookshop and walked out with interview for assistant managers post, so two days of prep for that one!

Took lunch into work, saved there, and made dinner completely out of cupboard stock.
Off to bed fairly soonish, have been feeling very out of sorts just lately :(

lynzpower....what are Quidco searches that earn you money..?

    Today I have:

Got lift in to work so once again avoided having to pay bus fares!

Sent some dodgy loans company their "offer" back via their prepaid envelope with a suitable message

    Arranged lifts for tomorrow (hopefully)

Bought reduced celery which was needed for tonights meal (more on that in a mo!) and also a 4 pack loo roll which was on special offer at £1 in Tesco.

Made a very frugal but big & scrummy dinner of spicy carrot, celery & onion soup and served with a warm crusty loaf (bread not HM though). Dessert was some banana tea bread I made a couple of days ago which is still lovely and fresh as it has been stored in airtight container. Last pieces will be munched tomorrow.

Didn't go out tonight - just caught up on free phone calls to my Mum & Brother (Talk Talk).

And finally...and this is the big one......I have started making tentative plans towards a trip to Amsterdam in October to see my favourite sport (won't bore you with details) but on the cheap! I know someone who can get me free tickets (hopefully) each night into the venue and he will hopefully give me a lift to and from the venue as well (maybe even loan me a spare room but I'm working on that.....otherwise it'll be cheap hotels booked via QuidCo if I can!). Just got to work on a cheap way to get there now (maybe if I book really early on EasyJet...?).

This is a really exciting challenge for me to see how cheaply I can do it and have a fab long weekend away.

    From Quidco
    - Deal Time.co.uk 10p
    - Kelkoo 12p
    - The High Street 8p or 4p

Add them to your favourites for quick access

I discovered this last week end on a post in this site (something about click for free cash). Seems that all cashback sites are pretty much doing it.

HAve a look. If you are having to buy anything, check quidco first! Remember I need ( NO WANT!) a wooden patio set? Well after umpteen hunts around Ive found one in the woolworths sale for £75. Brill. Click through quidco when I buy it get a fiver back from them. Excellent. Theres lots of other "freebies" trials of dvds ( up to 15 quid fro taking a free trial) and i got my primus phone via quidco / uswtich and that got me £8.
All adds up Ive got about 50-0dd quid waiting to clear and I havent spent anything yet!

Loads more info on the referrers board.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
