When I looked at pension funds they stated that they charged 1% of the pension fund per annum. At 40 years old I figured that for a £1000 invested that year, they'd charge me more than 20% by the time I was 60. I gave it a miss.
Having been bitten by SL, I don't trust anybody else to secure my future. I'd rather decide my own destiny.

It is okay saying that but in reality is very difficult for most people to find something that cheap that they can sell on for a decent profit.0
