Problems getting my mail in OE in Vista

Only with my @lineone.net email address.
But for the last two days it keeps putting up a screen telling me to logon with user name and password. In the past this has happened but usually clears after a few hours but not this time.
Any ideas how to sort this as the tiscali web site say no problems at present with emailing. But perhaps they would say that?
Is it time to move to a gmail email address but would take avery long time to update all the contacts, etc.

I have now sorted this and not quite sure how!!
Ran virus scan, CCleaner and removed account and set up again several times, rebooted and somewhere amongst this it is working again. Check if that doimands appears on international ban-lists. Sometimes, if someone used a e-mail address from your domain to spam he got banned for the entire domain. I'd start there0
