I live in a flat and my neighbour across the landing has just accidentally flooded her neighbour below(looks like an old big copper looking boiler and something to do with the ball bit in it has caused the flood).Anyway, it made me look at my insurance policy, i have Tesco value insurance and wondered if something similar happened to me(it shouldn't but just in case) then would i be covered? My insurance says insured against 'Water or oil escaping' or should i also have accidental cover?

It would be covered under the escape of water peril- damage to what though depends on whether it is a buildings or contents policy.0
