2 weeks:eek: I think you have left it a bit late as you will never work through the book in that time. What exams are you doing? Are they professional exams like ACCA. If so you will do better to spend your money on exam revision books.

Unless you need the book for next year as well I wouldn't bother buying. Look on notice board for 2nd hand, try the college library. It doesn't have to be 2006 book, an older one will do. The principles of management accounting are the same and for first year exams should be ok. Only later on in course when you get into tax and need upto info. will you need current issue. Keep your eye out for people selling books as soon as exams finish for next year.

This is what I did when I was so poor, I could only afford a liabrary card...

Went to my central library and filled in a card requesting a text book I needed. It cost 70p at the time (about 5 years ago).

They (the library) would serch high and low in other libraries (and even outside the area I was in). If they could not find it, they would buy the book I needed and lend it to me.

One drawback - not quite sure how long it might take.

    Otherwise http://isbn.nu/0077109392 or http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0077109392/qid%3D1145475993/203-5695073-8734331

I say, buy it, read it, sell it.
