Are you just going to take a picnic up Arthur's Seat or is it an organised thing? People won't think you odd - everyone in Edinburgh is odd in Festival time :D

There is a Free Fringe (Comedy in pubs) which is hit and miss but very MSE :rotfl: I go on things I have seen before, people I have had recommended to me and "folk I recognise from the telly"!

I would recommend Mark Thomas who is playing at The Stand if there are tickets left. The man is amazing.

    .

Well there is a bit more to it than that. We are taking up a table and chairs, we have to be wearing smart clothing (as in Suit and Ball dress) and we have to eat with a fork and knife. Not decided what we are eating yet. I think people will just assume we are part of the festival.

How do you find out where the free stuff is going on?

PP very jealous of the Edinburgh trip, went many moons ago and wish I could afford to go again, maybe in a few years! Enjoy it.
Going to WW tonight, so may end up with a small spend on treats, but will try to keep it below £2!

Thanks but not really a trip more of a long wander as it is only 45 mins on the train but should be much fun.:j

cheers for the link F_F I will check it out.:D

My spends today are £2 on card for work so I could have starbucks, £1 on wonderweb to sort out hems on my trousers (from the £ shop who knew they sold it there!) and £1.80 on lunch snacks to go with my pasta. Oh and dear other half has just nicked 50p for a can of coke. Total £5.30, weekly total £5.80

I think people will just wonder what show you're promoting! It sounds like good fun.

I'm in the red already this week . I spent £6.70 on a recorded delivery parcel. As the next couple of weeks are looking a bit hectic - what with weddings etc, I think I'll bow out for this week and next, until life returns a bit more to normal. Good luck keeping green everyone and enjoy the Edinburgh fringe to PP and F-F.
