NSD yesterday - all money spent was from Grocery budget. Nearly bought 3 pairs of earrings in the 70% off sale at Accessorize, but hummed and hawed and decided that I really didn't need them. :D

Going to be aiming for a NSW (No Spend Week) despite my £40 budget as I have just paid for a hotel stay and otherwise it will come out of my savings. Planned spends this week are food (Done) and dinner out tomorrow with a friend (Paid for from Entertainment budget and using 2for1 voucher!)

Don't let the Mondays get you budgeteers!
  • Morning all,

Wasn't too sure about having another go at this one due to the last couple being wayyy over budget.

However Pah to the last ones, please could you put me down for £20 again please. I have £11 in my purse so far so will see just how far I can make it stretch before I need more money out of the bank.

    Good luck everyone.

  • Hi all,

Sorry, I was absent over the weekend, wasn't feeling too hot.

I kept under budget last week and would like to pledge £10 for this week.

    Have fun x

I have been useless at writing down my spends recently. But I think I came in at around £16 last week so can you mark me as green please.

Yesterday I spent £3.90 on drinks, £5 on a taxi and £25 for the previous nights accommodation (all not budgeted as I went away last minute) So total spend already this week is £33.90  In view of this and because I don't want to fail before I start I'd best go for £45 this week, leaving me with £11.10 left

NSD today so that's a good start (although only because I didn't get chance to go out and buy lunch -so hungry but still a NSD!)

Happy budgeteering all, think green everyone!

    Evening budgeteers,

My spends today were 50p on vending machine at work to give me chocolate to get through Monday.

Good luck with your NSW F_F you are braver than me I know I could not make it.

Purpletea65 don't worry we all have bad weeks, I am sure you will be green this week.

    Thank you!

I don't know if I will make it for sure, but it's worth a try - things are tight Chez Fresian at the moment, and I'm hoping that if I do this NSW I will be able to pay for the hotel stay without breaking into my savings. I will also be able to keep up with PAD as well :D It's all in a good cause!

Once this week is out of the way it's Fringe Funtimes for me, and all the shows I am going to see are paid for, so less money spent there too :j It's all very exciting! What shows are you going to see when you come through?

Janeane Garafalo is the only one booked so far. Was thinking of taking a wander about and just picking one, is that a good idea or will I end up seeing drivel? The fringe catalogue thing is huge how are you supoosed to know if something is good or not.

I am going to Edinburgh as my crazy friend wants to do this "eating dinner on Arthur's Seat" thing, which should be fun but people will think us very strange I am sure.
