Well tomorrow is the day

Hi
Well I've finally reached my BR day (tomorrow at 9.30) Its over a year since my OH went BR (now discharged and in 28 months of payments will be free) and now its my turn. I inherited the responsibility of the house (which was our home and business because it was in joint names - all the other debt was in OHs name) and had to finish off the business and hand it over to the bank. Nothing happens quickly in these circumstances, but eventually they auctioned it off in Feb and now I owe them a shortfall. They are not pushing for the money but are happily adding £3.50 per day interest and there is no way that I will ever be able to pay it off. I recently managed to get a job ( I now have an 11 hour contract which I am actually happy for because the people that were taken on after me were only given 4 hour contracts and only for 9 weeks. They have to hope that there is overtime, but this is rare. ) so this is something.
I know that BR isn't that scary cos I went to court with my OH but I'm still a little nervous. But this is another step on our road to a new life and it has to be taken. I suppose I could bury my head in the sand and wait for the bank to force me into BR but this could take years and I'm not getting any younger.
Anyway enough of my waffle
I'll let you all know how it goes when I get back tomorrow
Good luck for anyone else going BR this week

Hi again
Well thats the form finished. I've counted the money (again) and OH is putting the address of the court in the sat nav. Because we've not lived here for 6 months we have to go to the court where we last did live in the area for 6 months. So we are up early and off to Bristol in the morning.
Bye again
