Item not received

I bought 3 items from the same seller. Two have turned up, sent packaged together in the same box but no sign of the 3rd one so far. Have contacted seller to ask if it was sent separately but no response as yet.

Now, if I file an INR with Paypal, and the buyer provides them with the tracking no. of the parcel I received, am I effectively screwed? The items were purchased separately and full P&P paid on each so should he have sent 3 parcels? What is the best way to handle this?

Thanks.

I would try and make contact with the seller first off.

Note that sellers may not spend 24/7 sat at their computer. Some may only be available during normal working hours.

It is also holiday season, and so it may be possible the seller is currently away.

Give the seller time to respond to your message, and then if no response is received, try requesting his contact details to phone him.

I intend to give the seller another week or so before I file an INR dispute if I need to. That will be over 2 weeks from date of purchase which I thnk is fair. I just have a bad feeling about this for some reason so am preparing for the worst case scenario.

This is the seller's problem as it is their responsibility to get the item to you. If necessary they will have to claim from the PO.

If you are not getting any responses from the seller I would be inclined to open an INR sooner rather than later.
