just ordered mine - no problems with order and price came up as £14.99 plus delivery charge

WHSMITH are not exactly the most consumer friendly in my eyes for such a large company. I have ordered before after seeing a bargain within moneysaver. They confirm your order then they realise something is wrong by means of stock availability dwindling rather fast. The process then becomes how many items you have ordered. As it happened I ordered 2 of (Red Dwarf) I received an email to say out of stock GOODBYE then a few days later they sent another email saying I could have 1 of which I had to confirm by email. With regards having delivered to the shop, it must have been at least 4-5 weeks from original purchase.
This may have been a one off incident, hopefully this Futurama offer will pull through and renew my faith in WHSMITH. ;D

Just checked my bank account online. I have 14.99 earmarked on my account. I assume earmarked would not consist of contract between myself and WHSMITH?...A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

FWIW I don't see any reason why a mail order operation would bother earmarking funds if they did not intend to despatch the goods.
I suspect that if you've had the funds earmarked, they will take the money, so the contract is in force.

GRRRR WHY DO THESE WEBSITES STILL NOT ACCEPT SOLO?!!? IT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS NOW AND IF 90% OF WEBSITES DO ACCEPT IT, WHY CANT THE OTHER 10% DO THE SAME?! IT IS SO FRUSTRATING WHEN YOU WANT TO ORDER SOMETHING AND YOU CANT USE YOUR DEBIT CARD!
