help with diy guttering.....ASAP

hey team, help needed. im doing some diy guttering. guttering seams fine so far and now on the down pipes. Had to use some offset bends and stuff and having problems at the joints of these???? none of my joints seam to be leak free?? am I missing something? or doing something wrong??? HELP!!

Its just normal square line guttering and the joints are all from the same place.

help appreciated.

    have you smoothed the edges after cutting. if you don't the shards of plastic hold the gutter up letting water run everywhere.

    The plastic pipe joints aren’t supposed to be ‘leak free’ as such they just slot together and are not usually sealed, if you have fitted them the correct way around the water will have to run uphill to find its way out of the fittings.

    If you've fitted the pipes and bends properly, they shouldn't leak - the pipe from above fits inside the socket of the bend.

    I glued mine with pvc solvent, joints permenantly fixed, leak free, job done.

    Yep, I think you're right.
    I reckon the OP has fitted the downpipe upside down.
