Hi,
While using the pc today my AGV flashed up there was a trojan. I was wondering I have AGV and Malwarebytes on my pc would you recommend me adding anything else or should this be enought to keep my pc ok. I would rather not have to pay
.

AVG is ok but I would use Avast, also free, but I think it's better. More likely to catch a virus as it is downloaded.
Andrew Rimmer 2009If you think it will take more than 3 hours to fix a software problem it is probably quicker to reinstall windows. 30 mins to install windows, 2½ hours to reinstall all your nice software0 -

AVG 8.5
Sunbelt Kerio (firewall)
Malwarebytes
Superantispyware
spybot
ad-aware
Too much in terms oif spyware "guards" probably, but when I run them all at least one picks up something another hasn't.
I must say though that AVG 8.5 picks up a lot more than the previous AVG version, as far as I can tell.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -

Uninstall AVG using this tool: http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/avg_arm_sup_____.dir/avgremover.exe

Update Malwarebytes, do a full scan then post the log back here.
