I can't imagine many linux people being here, you are best checking with the company of the dongle.
Good Luck
Andrew Rimmer 2009If you think it will take more than 3 hours to fix a software problem it is probably quicker to reinstall windows. 30 mins to install windows, 2½ hours to reinstall all your nice software0 -
Worth starting with the Aspire One forum http://www.aspireoneuser.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=42&sid=3c45215e996e2d166a96bfe3dca72287 (depends which model the Voda dongle is)0

I have a 3g dongle running on my AA1 under Linux. I needed to download a "mobile partner". The website mentioned above has plenty of useful information.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

You need to make sure the dongle you buy is a Huawei, and make sure you have done all the updates on your Acer. If you have done them you should have an icon in "internet" called Mobile Partner. Then your Huawei should work. Thanks to all who post comps :A :T0
