Hi All, I am thinking of cancelling my BT landline, as it just doesnt get used at all, but I wonder if somehow it is possible to do something so if someone still rings that number it told them my mobile number? And is it a charged service, and how do i do it?
Many thanks

There is something callled 'changed number interception' (CNI) where if someone calls your old landline number a message is given, 'the number you have called has been changed, dial the new number 01*******', its not free, but you would have to call BT to ask how much and how long it lasts0

It can be any number you want. The cost for residential customers is £15.00 for 1 month or £30.00 for 3 months. or + £30.00 for each additional 3 months.up to 12 months.0
