Windows - no disc

Hi, a couple of times a day i will get an oblong box that comes up on my screen above the box it says..Windows - no disc and in the box it says There is no disc in the drive please insert a disk into the drive. i have ran my p.c. virus check and it comes back as no virus found, i need to keep clicking on delete to get rid of it.....can anyone help me please.

Have you installed/upgraded/run a new program recently. It sounds like one of your programs is trying to open/save something to that disc. Or have you maybe opened or saved a document(or simular) onto a floppy disc recently? It sounds like that program might still be trying to access that file on the disc.
Does it happen when you open/running a certain program?

try updating your anti virus software, running ad-aware, updating your version of windows.
then if you still get the problem, go into control panel and check your system and see if you have a nasty big sign in yellow by any of your drives.what is the plural of moose?
