can anyone tell me if i buy an lcd t.v will it require a special aerial? or will i be able to use the old one.

Your old aerial should work fine if it was analogue terrestrial TV that you were watching. Don't buy without seeing the picture quality first. An analogue TV tuner is just one of many sources of material. Consider VCR, DVD and Digital Set top box connection options before buying.

thanks i brought the aldi LCD one today went through the tuning procedure as per booklet but no picture appears just a load of crackling so thought perhaps aerial at fault. although old t.v. works fine.
must be a duff one I selected in our store the manager wouldnt even open the boxes never mind have one on display, problem of buying from outlet not t.v. shop.
