HI,
Just got back off hoilday and found out that my 3 year old son had flushed the toilet before we left and the flush button had stuck down for 1 solid week, had a water bill just before we went away and i have worked out that 85 units have been used, this eqautes to 9 months of our normal usage, does anyone know if you can claim for this on house insurance or do i just have to swallow the cost. I have accidental cover.

If it is considered an accident to the building, then most contents insurance covers this, (loss of metered water due to an accident to the building). Though not sure from your post how the "accident" happened.
It will do no harm to enquire from your claims department if you have a claim here (if the policy isn't clear on this).0 -
My home insurance covers this, ring them to check or dig out your policy to be sure.:hello:0

Will it be worth your while given your insurance excess and future premium increases?
It's only a game
