Staywarm
My mum just received quote for next year gas & elec gone up £20pm from £54 to £74. Unfortunately there is no way of comparing this effectively on Uswitch etc as you dont get a reading and usage. Any ideas ? When I put the sterling figure in it says Npower cheapest but not really a true comparison.
It pays to challenge

You need to take meter readings to put into the comparision sites for a true quote. I did mine every month for a year, I have now cancelled my Staywarm, and should be £260 per year better off. If you are going to cancel now is the time to do it as you are paying all through the summer at that price when you are not using much. I was paying £80.32 up from £63.25 in December0 -
Have you checked through the paperwork that came with next year's quote. We received our increase letter a few months ago. There were several pages to the letter and, on one of the pages, was the usage information for the past year. It isn't set out like a bill, just paragraphs of info.0
