Can anybody advise why my laptop screen keeps turning white, it seems to hang and I can't do anything with it?? It doesn't affect a particular programme I am running, happens randomly! It a fairly new laptop and this has been happening for a couple of days now. Any help and advice much appreciated :D

    Thanks for the reply
Happens randomly meaning, does not just happen when running a particular programme, because at first I thought it was something to do with Adobe Bridge as that is when it started happening when I was sorting some pics out! Any advice on what to do to sort it?

If a programme is not responding in Vista then the window is running within will turn a whiter shade of pale, is that what you mean?
