Want advice on family tickets from Luton parkway and on tube in London
Hi
we are on a limited budget and want to take the kids to London to the Science and Natural History Museums during the school hols.
We live in Nottingham and have a car but were thinking of driving and parking, possible at Luton Parkway, and then getting train/tube tickets for a day.
Just wanted advice on which station is best to park at (and cost of a days parking?) and the cheapest way of then travelling into London and around on the Tube. We have a family & friends railcard too.
Would be going on a weekday and returning the same day.
Thanks

Well an off peak day travelcard is £30.60 total for 2 adults two children from Luton Airport Parkway. Arrive London after 1000, no return in the evening peak (1630-1900)
An off peak day travelcard from say Stanmore (Zone 6) is £7.50 per adult, £1 per child 11-15, free for children under 11. Start over 0930, no evening peak restriction - so a fair bit cheaper0 -
Thanks! That's a big help :T0
