in Credit cards
i have a credit card that i have not activated,will this affect my credit rating?i was going to transfer a balance to it but managed to pay it off,so never bothered activating it.

The available credit, along with the account itself, will still find it's way onto your credit report. How this "affects" your credit rating will depend on lots of other things, but if you're not going to use it why not close it down?0

I agree if not used close it, it will effect your available credit and also temptation for the future0
