Yes you read the header right!
Purchased 2 meals through the drive-thru for myself and my daughter. Got home to discover that they had got her order wrong - cue stroppy behaviour and sulks from the bairn. Yes I know I should have checked the order before driving off.....
Anyway, this has happened before from drive-thru fast food joints so I wasn't surprised or that bothered (apart from having to listen to DD whinging) but what annoyed me was when I checked my receipt I realised the guy at the order window had rung up the wrong order - probably because he was chatting at the time to his colleague about their plans to go out that evening! So for the first time ever I fired off an email to McD's suggesting that they ask their staff to not have personal chats when they are serving customers, and was pleased to receive a voucher this morning for £5 in response to my 'complaint'.
Now do I spend it on a meal for me or treat my DD to the meal she missed out on to begin with....... :rotfl:

If you phone the store they generally replace the whole of your order, which normally works out to be more than £5
Sorry, just realised that sounded a bit rude, wasn't meant to, just thought I'd let you know incase it happens again.0 -
I think that's true. Last time it happened to me I rang the store and was sent two vouchers for two large meals. I was only missing the extra chips I ordered with 1 large meal but they sent me enough vouchers to cover the whole order.0
