    Hello again Cady.

    I am not a fridge expert by any means, but from what I have read, a "frost free" fridge is a much more complicated machine than a normal fridge.
    Take a look at this article HERE and watch the video,(just the first bit) so you understand whats SHOULD be happening.

    Then scroll down to the "what goes wrong" section.

    It could be that the frost has not been cleared from your fan section ( you said the fan was hitting the ice) so the air is not circulating properly.

    I would completely defrost the fridge manually by switching it off for 24 hours with the door open.( You will need to put the food somewhere else lol)
    Once it is clear of Ice it should start start working correctly again when you switch it on.

    If the problem is still the same, or comes back within a few weeks then you will Req an engineer to diagnose what is causing the Ice to form.

    Thanks shandypants5 im going to try that - im lucky i have a 2nd freezer i can bung stuff into for now - that may be the issue as it sometimes stays cool then sometimes just starts to defrost - i will do that tomorrow and try it againa nd see how it is!!! grrrr stupid appliences!!!
