HSBC claim has been acknowledged?

if had a letter back from my bank saying basically my claim has been acknowledged and they cant respond to my claim until legal proceedings between the banks and oft are finished and they will respond to my complaint as soon as possible

Nothing, just join the queue of the other 1.12 million claimants who are waiting for the outcome of the OFT test case.
If you have priority debt arrears (mortgage, rent, council tax,utilities) you can make a Financial Hardship claim.0 -
ive only got 1 month council tax arrears one missed credit card payment at the moment think thats going to be difficult to claim for hardship, just going to wait then
how long do they think its going to take? 0 -
