Can this be done, I have a tv in my bedroom without a scart.
Can you get a Freeview box without the need of a scart connection?

I have an old ONdigital/ITV digital Nokia 9850t and that enables me to tune watch freeview through the RF cable. Looking at the Sagem freeview manuals online it appears that the ITD60 does have this option but not the other sagem models. So, if you can get hold of this from somewhere...
Good luck

Yes it can be done I also ran a old Ondigital box until I gave it away alst years still going strong and is set up for RF modulator.
Depending on whether it has RF modulator on the box you can turne your TV on to the right UHF channel when the freeview box is turned on.0 -

Think you should be ok, provided they have a modulator, rather than passthrough, or you could buy an add on modulator, which is a bit messier..

did you get the aerial working?
I did get it fixed, thanks for all your help. There are no TV shops here so had no choice but to go to the big shops. I got a wideband one with forward facing cross's as you suggested and it works fine without a masthead amp althouth I do still need the splitter amp as this boosts the signal just enough, without its a bit grainy but with it its crisp and clear. And I have 8 available outlets in the loft as its an 8 way splitter (will never use them all) which I needed years ago.
Thanks everyone I guess I will have to reserch my models, I picked up a bush box but that needs scart, its allowed me to test my signal and can go back now as its no use on the main TV due to SKY..0 -
You may want to try the following link

Empiredirect states when the product has RF modulator. eg.

Hmmmm I've got a SAGEM freeview box and it only feeds the Freeview signal through to the tv if a scart cable is used0

The Humax F2 Fox-T has an RF modulator so you don't need a scart.
Its good but not the cheapest. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Thanks everyone, I found the Sagem ITD60 (which is obsolete) for just £19.95 from richer sounds, none in stock as you see but my local store had one.
Its fantastic, it can be run through scart or coaxial using the RF modulation, its really good. My old TV/VCR combo in the bedroom is only mono anyhow.
This is a must read though for setting up the sound: HERE
I called Sagem about the sound and all they could say was its either the cables or a faulty receiver, so their tec supports not up to much although they have been obsolete for a while.
What gets me though is in a few years they will shut down the normal annalouge signal and there are lots of people with sets without scart about nobody is meating the demand right now, perhaps there is currently no demand but there will be when people find their old portables no longer work..0
