Cruises: Beats any package holiday...

I have a lad who's just turned two, and the cruises are far more family friendly. You can leave them (for free) in the kids clubs whilst you go on trips or to the shore. Nothing worse than dragging a two year old around markets in 100 degrees! As I've already said, a cinema, pools, entertainment, kids clubs are standard, some go the extra mile with Ice skaiting rink, water slides, rock climbing walls etc etc!0

for anyone interested in an easycruise you can get a load of info on https://www.bigorangeboat.com . The Riviera season is starting soon and there are good deals to be had in May/June.Timmay!0

Easycruise is crap, its not actually that cheap (it doesn;t include your meals which is probably your biggest expediture on holiday) and the message I got from the website is that its for young singles out to party, not families.0

I would steer well clear of Easycruise as well - The cabins are so small and all that orange - well I wouldnt like to wake up with a hangover on that boat!!!!:beer:0

I would recommend Ocean Village if you're on a tight budget; they're also great with hygeine, all passengers must squirt alcohol serum on their hands before returning onto the ship and before touching any cutlery or buffet food. Think that puts some of the larger, well known ships to shame!0

ocean village says for over 30s
looks like we will have to wait 3 yrs :rotfl:0 -
Rachie all age groups go on the OV just dont try and book Saga Cruises ...lol
missk_ensington..There are cheaper and better cruises out there. I found it good but over priced for what you getIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
NCL was just the same - as soon as you return on board you have to have the hand sanitation and it is by every food station (bit of Americal lingo for you there) NCL also had a great kids club and free seating for meals so none of this two sittings only. We started looking at our cruise via www.vacationstogo.com also looked on www.thecruiseline.com but ended up going direct to NCL and getting the best deal! and that was only about 10 days before the holiday.0

Don't knock easycruise til you've tried it. We stayed in the carribean for a week for £60 each. It also stopped every night in port unlike most of the bigger ships which spend more time at sea so that you spend more money on board. True its probably not for the cruising crinklies but I've been on plenty of cruise lines and easycruise has a good niche. Even with buying food a drink on board it was still loads cheaper than the others and we got to see islands that were not feature on bigger ships. I would imagine however that the Riviera cruise may attract more 'boistrous' passengers than the carribean one.Timmay!0
