    >It's of no surprise in a country that allows the underclass to have a career benefit path,<

Yep. Benefits topped with the dealing (slapped wrist in the unlikely event of being caught), selling pr0n DVDs in pubs, bringing in booze/ciggies from France in the back of a van and selling door-to-door, scamming old dears on 'roof washing' or 'ridge tile replacement' (cash in hand, of course), and good old, fashioned thievery.

I regret every moment I wasted studying to get a 'good' job and staying in England. I was the fool; should have put my feet up watching Jeremy Kyle. AND my pension has already been stolen many times over to feather-bed the 8,000,000 idle underclass.

Poor you amu , thought you would have been clued up enough to reap the benefit in pension and wealth planning...then have it plundered later of course.

How about we start charging for all schooling including further education, ie a higher tax rate for having kids not a lower one , after all they use up more of the taxation anyway? Also reduce the summer to 2 weeks holiday for kids or four for parents?

What do we also get for our taxes ,

nhs - well we could just look at america and see there is no other option. However the nhs needs a right good boot in the r's , more work or less pay at the lowest level up not cost cutting and more pay at the top.

Schooling even from 5 -18 , 13 years x 5k a year and compound and adjust for inflation must be 100k ......price that into the students lifetime taxes and not the parents or those without kids. Then theres further education , which at the very least is subsidised by taxes if not wholly funded...ie teachers are paid by our tax unless its a really posh place that has a nice earner in charity status.

Benefits system IS punitive to all but the lifestyle poor , example if you have been clever enough to have savings ,savings that have already been taxed to death , then you get less than those with none. All it takes for a change in circumstances to need benefits is a medical injury/illness and the life of luxury becomes the life of need..ie loved one has accident or stroke. However I beleive theres very little to distinguish wtc and the like and are benefits for the working and middle classes anyway.

Mps - Tax dodgers themselves probably travel about in the off season doing driveways , downright decietful thieves that they are. They vote against reform after being found out for what is no better than benefit fraud and then offering an unmeant apology...shows how geuine the apology really was.Should maybe check out margot macdonalds expense claims at the scottish parliament and be very very ashamed and by all rights she should be claiming dla herself and yet does not.

If those that run the country are dodgy in claiming everything and sundry, then how can we expect those they actually take the taxes from not to do the same.

Years ago when I was being brought up in a council house the rent man would call round for the rent.... it wouldn't be so easy if they still did.

he would probably be robbed by a hoodie(or an mp) , then thousands paid in legal aid to defend them , then the culprit let off due to a recently diagnosed case of aspergers combined with the media and a letter to obama cos they listened to rap and played grand theft auto 12!
