How much Time do you need in Dublin?

How much time in Dublin is sufficient?

Probably go on my own so Im thinking 2-3days max on ryanair. as the £1 sale ends midnight.
not looked into what there is to do as yet, due to the deadline running out soon.

Is there enough to do for that amount of time on your own?

the same for Barcelona if same persons been.... two birds and one stone.

Dublin city centre is fine for like a day trip I'd say. I go quite often and I'd say it's all about the shopping! Other than that theres Temple Bar for very over-priced food and drink, the Guiness Factory and theres the bus tour. Other than that you could go out to Dun Laoghaire which is a ferry port near it...really beautiful place with a Marina. And to Liffey Valley just down the M50, really good shopping centre with a cinema too.

Watch out though, in Dun Laoghaire I paid €9 for a cinema ticket...everything is overpriced in Dublin and the surrounding areas!
  • Dublin is SO overrated. Dont go!
  • I love city breaks but was unimpressed with Dublin. It was dreary and expensive. Barcelona is one of my favourites though, loads to see and do certainly not cheap but reasonable away from main touristy bits, can't wait to go back!

    I agree!

Barcelona is well worth a visit.
The best thing to do when you go there is jump on the Bus Turistic it has three routes. The bus is the best way to see the city and get around the attractions.
Tickets allow you to get on and off to your hearts content.
These buses are not only a fairly quick way of visitng the tourist attractions, it is also a great way of experiencing the city itself as the buses are open top and you can see a great deal.
