    what a lovely day

was at the DR at 8am to collect my cert and a repeat prescription, only to be told by the DR that she would have to check with the head Dr as they don't do med 3.written scripts any-more,so have to wait till thursday and try and ring ireland(who are on a go slow and only answer the phone for 20 mins at 10 am and 3pm)to see what they want instead,,and they haven't heard from my Irish GP so wont issue repeats scripts, but if they haven't heard from them by Thursday i can make an appointment (10 days time) to get an emergency script ,,

i dont know whats happened here in the last 26yrs,but it looks as though no one will make a decision for them self,s better to [STRIKE]bury the problem[/STRIKE] email some body else :mad:

then just to cap a perfect day ,we decided to go and see friends in the west of london and half way up the M25 the hose and a connector blew,,luckaly we have AA membership ,and carry blankets in the van ,,so we wrapped up the kids in my coats and blankets and stood on the M25 verge in -1 and sleet for 30-40 mins,

hopefully no major damage was done as i stopped fairly quickly

    sxx

Poor Shaun and the flock! :-(

Knowing both systems, I sympathise trying to get your prescriptions sorted. Hopefully Ireland will move to a 'go fast' system for you soon (i.e. answer the phone for an extra 20 mins per day) so you can get it sorted.

Warm hugs to you all. xxx
