    hi chev

good point, that is of cause irish shopping days as christmas day is the only day when 95% of shops will be closed..
most the big food shops do 8-10 or 24 hrs mon-sat ,sundays 12-6 ,,shop centres 10/12 till 7/9pm.

the 7 day opening and extended hours was brought in ,in the last recession,to create jobs,,
at that time it was 9-6 m-f sat if you were lucky,, tough look if you worked 7-5 and had to commute

extra hrs could not be filled by staff already working,, so lots of new jobs created,,and descent shopping hours ;-)
WAS DEBT FREE & STILL BAAARRRRRKING

Glads things are going well Shaun. I suppose you know what lines sell and which don't now? How has starting a new business been in these terrible (financial) times. Do you have the barber upstairs now, (haidresser??).

    Enjoy your well deserved holiday.
