Protecting No Claims on car insurance advice!
Hi there,
Here is the scenario:
I've just bought my first car. Insurance for me is very high so therefore my dad has agreed to put me as the second driver in order to bring the price down a little bit.
However, he has around 9 years no claims on his own car (car 1). But if i protect that no claims when getting insurance for my car (car 2) it is costing me £100 more
So the question is: If I do not protect his no claims on the insurance for car 2, will his no claims still be protected on car 1?
Sorry if it's a bit confusing, I can elaborate a little more if need be
thank you!
