Luvplacebo wrote: »I've signed up with them but I've just checked my points and underneath it says "When you've reached 500 GBP you can redeem your money by clicking on the update button below." hopefully this is a typo, otherwise even the most dedicated survey takers are unlikely to reach this any time soon.
It says this in their FAQ's
"Rewards for completed surveys are paid in cash via PayPal. You can draw down your rewards when you have a minimum of £2.50 in your account, or alternatively save your rewards until your are ready to redeem them."0 -
Geordie Joe, I am with many survey sites and use Survey Police so I know how to check if a site is legit.
Well I checked with Survey Police too, and found no mention of this site at all.
So how about answering my question "How have you checked?"I have never had any bad dealings with a site like no payment or them going back on their word etc as I always check them out fully.
But you still haven't said how you fully checked out this site?
Always having been paid from site A is no guarantee of being paid from site B.I know not to trust an unknown website that says their legit and I always go to without using a link from another site.
To be honest, if a site is not legit, getting to it from a method other than clicking a link on another web site isn't going to make much difference.I have done 2 surveys with them but didn't qualify so that's why I've not got any credit with them.
You haven't got any money from them either!
I don't presume people know nothing, I also don't declare to others that a site is legit until that site has proven it by paying me what it owes.
If you really have fully checked out this site, how about posting your findings?0 -
Geordie Joe, if you actually read my reply it was about survey sites in general, not Crowdology.
I did not like your asumptions which make it sound as if you want people to think that only you are the one that knows about survey sites etc.0 -
When I first signed in my username and password were already saved but then I got signed into another survey site I'm registered with. This was after following the crowdology link in the e-mail...weird0

survey exchange by any chance spike ?0
-
could it have been Response Panel, Spike, there is a connection with them both.0
-
stupid site keeps saying my post code is wrong.0
-
I think it was response panel, I just thought it was strange them logging me into that through the crowdology link0

Geordie Joe, if you actually read my reply it was about survey sites in general, not Crowdology.
You stated in your first post that you had checked out Crowdology, asked how you checked them out and you replied about survey sites in general!!!!!!!!!!
Lets try again, how did you check out Crowdology?I'm with these, but have not earned anything yet. The reason for this is that they are very new. I've checked them out and they are legit, so no worries there.
I would sign up for them as a lot of survey companies now only recruit so many members and then won't let anyone else join. It's a cost cutting/money saving exerciseI did not like your asumptions which make it sound as if you want people to think that only you are the one that knows about survey sites etc.
It did not sound as if I wanted I wanted people to think that only I know about survey sites. That would be plain stupid considering most of what I know about them I learned in here!
You on the other hand, have stated you checked them out and they are legit, but you keep avoiding my question asking how you checked them out and what you found.
It appears to me that you want people to think you are some sort of authority on these sites, but so far you have shown nothing to back it up.0 -
Geordie Joe, on their site it says that they:
"undertake all research in accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct and ESOMAR guidelines.
Redshift Research is registered with the data protection agency. (registration no: Z1751697)."
Dunno if that comfirms they're legit but it seems so0
