Went for bike ride along canal towpath today( first time since January...was very icey then and bully nearly ended up in canal, then bike would have been damaged, but instead, I fell onto bike handlebar and fractured a rib) Came across a young lad fishing aged about 5/6yrs ,...we stopped to chat and he was over the moon as he had just caught his first ever perch, over 1lb in weight....bully nearly threw him in...I've never caught a perch...been pike fishing and changed to small spinners and lures for perch , but never ever caught one....then...to make things worse,......could they be any worse.....he asks me if I had read that Benson had died......he was only fishing with his dad , when his dad caught Benson last year.....he then went on to tell me about all the other record fish his dad had landed...and then....it gets worse...I tell him I'm going carp fishing tomorrow...whats your biggest? he asks....I'm not telling you says I, 'cos I bet yours was bigger.....I've had a 16 pounder he says.....I then asked him....Can you swim?..................

Just back off holiday - missed you peeps! ;)
Thread 8 already - I've got millions of pages to read!!
Must print some coupons off - going to T's tomorrow.
Came home to find 3 rugby balls and 3 cricket balls :j (thanks Gill), £1.50 off WKD, 30p off Clipper plus a box of 10 tea bags, 20p off Muller Fruit corner (with a Free Farm days leaflet), loads of free samples, Dove, etc. (DD1 had signed up to various websites before we left!). I only managed to use 7 x 55p off The Times MOC's while I was in Jersey - they don't take MOC's unless you buy the product there and no Mr T's!
Hope you've had a great MOCing time while I've been away, will chat some more after I've read epic Thread :A

Just received my Radio Times through the post (subscribed and paid for with Tesco Points). If anyone else buys this then keep your eyes open as there is a 20p coupon off Hovis bread as a "pull out" in the centre pages.:T

Went shopping last week and when I got home noticed I had been overcharged for 2 tubes of toothpaste that was on special offer. Went back today and got the toothpaste refunded in full and then paid double the difference on top - well happy!
