The moral of this is dont go to Tescos and forget your purse and coupons like i did or you may land up being kippered by a miserable old git...................

Tesco a customer clubcard points, if they choose not to have those points added to their own clubcard (or if they cannot be bothered to get a clubcard) then who is losing out by someone else having them? Tesco are no worse off than if the customer who had the receipt actually had a clubcard.
I do not go searching around for receipts or till spits but if I see one on the floor or in a trolley then I will have a look at it and if it has some points to add on I will get it scanned.
I can see it being an issue if you have a lot of them to scan but my stores say you can only do two per visit and they need to be less than two weeks old. I have probably had a couple of hundred points from receipts I have found.
I was just saying be carefull doing this. If I didn't work there I would probably do the same.
The chap that was banned in our store and had his clubcard taken away was doing it daily. One of the reasons behind Tesco clubcard is so they can see what you are buying, if someone else scans the receipt then they don't get the information they want, so Tescos don't gain anything from it (if that makes sense).0 -

Surely the points are rewards for us using them rather than a competitor. So I disagree , Tesco do gain in the long run.0 -
Oh deary me, I'll go to foot of our stairs!!!:D
I have read the last few pages regarding the pedigree coupons and I really do feel very confused
It really is a great amout of pennis for us, but at the same time I do not wish to jepordise the policy at our Mr T's, as I have said before the manager will only take 5 coupons per shop and if it causes a problem I am pretty sure he will stop taking any coupons:eek:, he is not the type to upsett, although he is rather dishy:D
I have been to T's today but would not use the £3.80 coupon even though it has been scanning fine.
Now I am wondering wheather to use any of the pedigree ones there.
I may be better travelling a little further to the Tesco Extra.
